DOM methods are not working in html-embedded-in-docx recipe

Hope you're doing well,

I want to use DOM methods in docx html-embedded-in-docx recipe for some image customization but DOM methods are not woking in this recipe but it's working fine in PDF

Do we have any option to access this?

The recipe just wraps this library
https://github.com/evidenceprime/html-docx-js
You can look there at what's supported and what's not.
However, I am afraid the js eval you intend to use won't work in word.
