Excel template deprecated?

I see "deprecated" here even though it's working.

If this feature to be deprecated soon, what's the alternative way to apply an uploaded excel template?

It will be removed at the beginning of the next year in the v3 release.
Just download the xlsx template "table-chart", upload it as an asset, and reference it in the "xlsx asset" field.
