Is jsreport-client-app still supported

Hello,
after installing the client app the app can be accessed at address /client but there seems to be no content. Also I cannot see property in studio to set one template as default for the client app.
What I am trying to achieve is to setup single template that would function as "landing page" or dashboard for clients when they login. Client app seems to be for just that purpose.
If client app is not the supported way of doing it what would be?

unfortunately, this extension isn't supported for several years.
I believe most of the devs integrate such a dashboard directly into their applications.
