Typescript studio extension?

Is there a way to configure a report studio extension using typescript? I have not been working on it very long but if there is documented method I would greatly appreciate someone pointing me in the right direction.

It's probably somehow possible, but we didn't check that out.
jsreport studio extensions are very small after all. Just a few files and few lines of code.
Better to just check the code of an existing extension and adapt it to your needs.
