Add user permissions to multiple objects
-
Hi there,
I was just wondering if there is a way to add user permissions to multiple objects in one go?
Like being able to add a group permission and then add a user to a group. At the moment if we add a user we have to edit the permissions on each report or script individually.
Thanks
Peter

To answer myself, I found that you can set the user object to have read or edit permissions on all objects from the user object itself.

The user groups aren't supported currently. However it's a good idea so I added it to the backlog

User groups are now supported in the jsreport 3.2.0

@jan_blaha Thanks so much, will give it a go.
On a side note, we bought a perpetual license for Enterprise edition on July 1st, will this license key work for version 3?
Thanks
Peter

Yes, the perpetual license includes 6months of updates. So you can use everything released until the end of the year.

Hi @jan_blaha , just a question on the perpetual license.
If we wanted to get updates past the 6 months do we need to buy another full license or is there another mechanism to just get updates?
We have the ability to go up to version 3.2 but there are some security updates in 3.4 we would like to apply.

We only provide a discount so you don't have to pay the original 645$ but instead 445$ when updating the existing license. Respectively 1350$ for the scale license. Please contact support if you decide to update at support@jsreport.net

Thanks so much.
