html-to-xlsx recipe doesn't support images.
We have this feature in the backlog if you want to upvote it or follow it.

You need to use the xlsx recipe until it gets implemented.

I don't even know how to do this in excel...
If you know how, you need to follow the common approach:
Do it in excel, unzip the xlsx file, and compare the content with the original.
Then replicate the change with xlsx helpers.
