Exclude JSReport Studio from on-premise deployment
We have a requirement of Reporting solution to be integrated in a web application which is deployed on-premise.
We are considering to build this solution using JSReport.
Is it possible to exclude the JSReport studio while deploying the application to customer server? Templates are to be developed while development and customers do not need to have this. Hopefully, we will also achieve a smaller footprint by doing this.
hi! you can disable the studio extension using the following config described here. the studio extension code will still live in the server but it won't be imported by jsreport so it will not add execution time when jsreport starts. if you want to don't have the studio code at all then you can just delete the
node_modules/jsreport-studiofolder before you deploy to your server
