  @anku9896 sorry, i don't understand what you want specifically, what do you want to stop? if you are asking for a way to reset the cache without restarting the server then this is not possible, in that case, it is probably better to just disable the cache entirely with the configuration mentioned above

  I have a problem though. My document is made up of a main template and a header-footer template that I merge with PDF-Utils (in the GUI).
  Using this snippet of code I have the correct number of pages, and on the second set of pages I have a watermark but I lose the header/footer..

  Any idea? Maybe because the GUI pdfUtils is run after render?
  in any case I've tried to programmatically read the template and merge it and then merge over the watermark, but I don't seem to be able..

  hmm your CentOS machine is probably missing the fonts needed to support the Thai characters, you need to identify which fonts you need to install.

  i tried to search for some history about your problem and the closest is this , which in the end the user says that it got solved by installing different types of fonts, unfortunately, it did not say the font names. i found also this, which it claims that it gets the Thai characters supported just fine, you probably can check that to get the necessary font-names you need to install on CentOS

  Suppose if want to call a function inside customer.js file.ie,

  jsreport doesn't provide this out of the box, but it should be easy to do with jsreport custom script beforeRender hook
  https://jsreport.net/learn/scripts

  You can reach there the certificate in base64 form on template.pdfSign.certificateAsset
  Then you can use a custom library or open SSL command-line tool to get the desired information.

  And store this information on req.data.myCertificateInfo....
  Then you can reach it through templating engines and embed the information to the final pdf.

  I want to be able to use some common variables and functions within a template helper script file, but I get :
  ReferenceError: [var/function] is not defined

  yes, this is because in the first case you tried to serialize the helperFoo and put it inside req.template.helpers, this gives you error because when you serialize the function you lost access to any variable outside the function, so the _commonDataForAllHelpers variable can not be found when helperFoo runs. this is basically how javascript works with functions getting serialized and the revived, the function is no longer a closure and lost access to other variables outside its definition.

  Something like this maybe?

  your second case works ok, you just have a small typo here '\n' +\n{#asset ./helpers_src_asset.js}it should be'\n' + \n{#asset ./helpers_asset.js}, you can use that approach or just enable the shared helpers check of the asset which basically does the same.

  This works, but when we download the excel file it won't show the text with hyperlinks, because of the hyperlinks by default it is getting opened with protected view. once you open it in edit mode then only you can see the hyperlink
