  Is there a specific reason for the version choice?

  We wanted to keep a consistent chrome version across the official images and npm package. That time the 79 wasn't available for alpine yet if I remember it right.
  Also, the 79 version was sometimes 20% faster than the newer chrome versions.
  Nevertheless, the jsreport v3 uses chrome 93 now.

  If you want to try to use the same chrome version as it's in the jsreport 2.11, you could inherit from the official alpine jsreport image

  I believe you mean when the parallel usage check fails. There are no limitations. Just the warnings you see. Everything runs the same.

  I indeed overlooked the group permissions. This completely fixes that point I made.

  The feature to be able to map users to groups works perfectly, and combined with the group permissions, eliminates a lot of situations where the team would previously had needed admin access (and having to resort to using the shared credentials), like adding a new request under a specific group, or granting a new user access.

  Thanks again, it's so nice to use a product which ticks all the boxes :)

  Yes, it probably has to do with the postgres slowness.
  I downgraded jsreport 3.2 back to jsreport 2.11 on the same kubernetes pod (same machine, same resources, same postgres server) to compare.

  Below are the results.
  But even if the postgres is slow to respond, I wonder why does the asset replacing take 3 times longer now in jsreport 3.2 compared to jsreport 2.11 with the same setup.

  For now, I have to keep using jsreport 2.11.

  Ok, so you don't use MongoDB actually.
  Unfortunately, DocumentDB doesn't support all MongoDB APIs which jsreport uses.
  https://docs.aws.amazon.com/documentdb/latest/developerguide/transactions.html#transactions-limitations

  Maybe it could help, to change the DocumentDB engine to 3.6. This MongoDB version doesn't support transactions so the described error won't happen because jsreport won't use them. Please let me know if this helps, I would include it in the documentation.

  Another option is to use a different service. Mongo company has its own service running in AWS as well which runs normal mongo without limitations. https://www.mongodb.com/atlas

  We have just tested with HTML recipe and the report is running successfully.

  I've edited the mentioned line in the file:
  jsreportapp/node_modules/@jsreport/jsreport-express/lib/routes.js

  and fixed some issue on our sides (javascript dependencies), now the js report log(logs/reporter.log) is very clean:
