  jsreport merges configuration from config file, environment variables, command line arguments and also directly from the application code in this exact order.

  We had the same problem at the customer site. Turns out, they opened access to npm repositories; but in order to download Chromium, puppeteer tries to download from https://XXX.1e100.net which was blocked (it's Google download site, but it shows up on suspicious lists; so it was blocked). Third-level domain varies, but it is something like mia07s48-in-f16. Anyway, once they opened 172.217.8.0/24 subnet, it started working.

  the steps i described above should copy your package.json and install the modules in your package.json, take a deep look, it is almost the same file just with some lines modified.

  Hi,

  Please provide a quick help. I am having jsrepot.config.json file in the project. index.js as the starting file. script to build the application is node index.js

  I'm slowly nearing the problem. If I uncheck the header-footer merge the error goes away.

  I have isolated the header-footer into it's own report, but I cannot reproduce the error. I'm guessing it has something with the merge to do. I don't have more time right now. Will get back to this if you need more input.

  My header-footer goes all the way to the edge of the paper. I.e. no margin. Here is how the header looks.

  I see. Does it provide a temp where you can write? I guess you can reach the same problems when running the AWS Lambda function.

  You have likely a bigger asset and it timeouts during diffing the long text.
  We are currently working on replacing the string diff library that is the bottleneck.
  Until we release this, you can try to increase the reportTimeout config.

  sure, we are aware of that and we plan to analyze how we are going to proceed with that, in the meantime, the library works great, it has a lot of years of maturity so there is not immediate pressure to replace it.

  I see it works with HTML in the browser but it doesn't with pdf.
  The chrome-pdf recipe just gives the HTML to the headless chrome which does pdf print so it should work there as well.
  I tried to wait half a minute before hitting the printing trigger, no luck.
  I tried also to use screen media type when printing, no luck.
  I tried a newer version of your lib and also of headless Chrome, no luck.
  There is no error printed, maybe the library has some kind of event handler you can register to?
  I am afraid I don't know how to troubleshoot this further.
  Maybe you rather try luck on their support forum or in the documentation
  There can be some extra config you need to set to the lib before printing. Like "no animation" or something like that.
