  Thanks for the response.So you are saying that we need to create template,asset( image,css), script seperately for report using odata.But i have more queries
  1.How all these files will get stored under a single folder?
  2.is it possible to rename the names of template, assets, script files using odata API?
  3.Is it possible to copy and paste the folder containing template, assets, script to another folder using odata API?

  I am trying to render a content "test". No sample data and script.
  In jsreport studio it is taking 20 second of average.

  This is a very long time and the first problem to solve.
  What is your hw machine setup? Even a single CPU machine needs to handle it in a one second.
  Do you run in docker? What if you run without nginx, do you have the same results?

  I see you posted one log where it looks you run on Linux and one when you run on Windows.
  I guess windows is just a dev machine. There you have also the same performance problems?

  @Samerkassem I had the same problem. My solution was to add global helpers.js as asset, not as script and activate "shared helpers attached to each template".

  In our company we want to use jsreport as a printing engine, we are going to obtain a license.
  But first I have to develop some extensions to suit our needs. For example, reusable template logic and behaviors that can be docked or undocked in a pipeline. Something like the scripts extension. But more configurable and using typescript, dependency injection, etc ...
  That is why I would like to introduce custom entities.

  Also I am working on an engine that uses vue-ssr. We like to use it and we see the opportunity to create our own reusable components.

  jsreport merges configuration from config file, environment variables, command line arguments and also directly from the application code in this exact order.

  We had the same problem at the customer site. Turns out, they opened access to npm repositories; but in order to download Chromium, puppeteer tries to download from https://XXX.1e100.net which was blocked (it's Google download site, but it shows up on suspicious lists; so it was blocked). Third-level domain varies, but it is something like mia07s48-in-f16. Anyway, once they opened 172.217.8.0/24 subnet, it started working.

  the steps i described above should copy your package.json and install the modules in your package.json, take a deep look, it is almost the same file just with some lines modified.

  I'm slowly nearing the problem. If I uncheck the header-footer merge the error goes away.

  I have isolated the header-footer into it's own report, but I cannot reproduce the error. I'm guessing it has something with the merge to do. I don't have more time right now. Will get back to this if you need more input.

  My header-footer goes all the way to the edge of the paper. I.e. no margin. Here is how the header looks.

  I see. Does it provide a temp where you can write? I guess you can reach the same problems when running the AWS Lambda function.

  You have likely a bigger asset and it timeouts during diffing the long text.
  We are currently working on replacing the string diff library that is the bottleneck.
  Until we release this, you can try to increase the reportTimeout config.
