I was able to find out the root cause of the issue.
Long story short - we used old docker image with jsreport-aws-s3-storage plugin which is not used anymore. With a new docker image everything works well.
yes, it is something we are planning to improve in the future, i agree it is not nice to know what is compatible with what, but stay tunned it is on radar
We believe this isn't the regression compared to the previous versions right?
However, we consider removing the lines left after templating engine tags
Your helper function runs in nodejs. This means you can use tricks and libraries that work in node. I believe this information gives you a better idea of how to search for problems solutions.
You can, for example, use popular package momentjs, that provide helpers to get a date in a specific timezone.
Install moment-timezone
npm i moment-timezone --save
Use it in the helper
const moment = require('moment-timezone')
function now() {
return moment.tz("Europe/London").format()
}
This error likely signals OOM. You will likely have crashes with the in-process strategy as well when you increase the data.
Fortunately, we have docx optimizations ready and we ship it along with the jsreport@2.7.0 in few days.
You should be able to get the updated recipe already now using
I uninstalled all wkhtmltopdf versions locally and then reinstall it by brew cask install wkhtmltopdf and npm install jsreport-wkhtmltopdf
It helped me. Thanks!
@jan_blaha do you have any sugesstion here. Does this feature of passing initial xlsx template works only in JsReport GUI or can I use it in API as well? Appericate clarification as this is important for me. :)
It seems I forgot the subdomain - just used the www - sorry for that! When I tried a wrong username - it gave the wrong password/username message. Might be an improvement to pick up the erroneous subdomain. Thanks!
Unfortunately, it isn't possible to create pdf editable forms with jsreport at this moment.
We have this feature in the backlog so we should get to it during the next weeks/months.
xlsx is faster and more powerful, hard to master and understand the openxml excel format
html-to-xlsx is slower and limited, easy to use without openxml knowledge
