  you need to define your function first in the js terminal. Once done, you can call the function by passing the data. for example
  function isActive(value){
  if(value=='success'){
  return "Verified Clear";
  }else{
  return "Record Not Found";
  }
  }
  for this function, you'll call it by using double curly brackets like below in template
  <td style="font-size:12px !important ">{{isActive forms.status}}</td>
  here, isActive is the function call and the forms.status is the argument.

  I had a similar problem. In my case I was setting the "res.content" in the afterRender function to a custom string.

  It worked at the time but after a while it just stopped working and I was getting the puppeteer error "Navigating frame was detached". Once I removed the setting of "res.content" everything was working properly.

  I think the callback function done() needs to manipulate "res.content" so it needs to see the generated content.

  I thought the error popped up because of the use of the reports extension but seems like it isn't the case as I am not able to replicate the issue.

  And then test the similar calls you do

  object keys order are not guaranteed, this is behaviour is part of js language, if you need a very specific order, use an array, if you don't want to change the data input then you can convert the object to array at runtime with a helper

  function toSortedArrayByKey(data) { const arr = [] const sortedKeys = Object.keys(data).map((key) => ( parseInt(key, 10)).sort((a, b) => a - b) ) return sortedKeys.map((key) => data[key]) }

  The input data needs to be in the json.
  You can either convert it to JSON in your app or send it as a string and convert to JSON in the jsreport custom script

  I can confirm syntax for the helper call worked and managed to get the date inserted in the cell.
