  The helper's async implementation currently doesn't work well with nested helper calls or with async helper parameters.

  Got it, I was thinking about finding and replacing all the links with JavaScript app.launchURL() but it seems this wouldn't be easy (or even doable) from within the jsreport processing pipeline.

  Ok, as I suspected the problem was with the huge headers.
  Since the same problem was in Postman, we solved it with the same workaround:

  NODE_OPTIONS=--max-http-header-size=16384 jsreport start

  I don't see any problem with that.

  Or does childTemplateSerialize data leak in some way that prohibits two consecutive renders?

  Also not aware of that.

  This is kind of a frustrating error, I also suffered this error on my chrome. I fixed this issue by follow some steps from here https://droidtheory.com/pdf-not-opening-in-chrome-fixed/ You can also try them, they worked for me
