Okay it turns out it's really my jsreport config json fault, i added
"templatingEngines" : {
"strategy": "http-server",
"allowedModules": "*"
}
then it works fine, hope people find this helpful in future.
Nice, I found the https://jsreport.net/learn/windows-single-executable and works!
Now... when I copy the exe file, and run win-install, how can I configure the timeOuts? for the http server and for templatingEngine?
Thanks for the reply. I meant to say : logs were not being generated so can not debug what going on.Have been struggling with the config for while, finally figure it out. It was some kind of line ending that messed up config file when I copy pasted the snippet. I reverted back to original config and typed the code and it worked. I will try the last part of replacing studio with custom home page.
Thank you!
I hadn't done my homework on streams. I naively thought that the error event on the stream would catch all problems. Didn't even know that I would get a response event as well as a readable stream from the request library.
Reading the status code is of course the right way to do it.
@msageryd we did a quick test with this and it seems that it can handle timezones too, you just need to pass timeZone param to the formatDate, we are in the process to add to the docs the steps needed to have full Intl support.
PD: your steps to add Intl support were really helpful, thanks for sharing
