  the issue was related to our serializator not being able to handle (parse correctly) empty buffers. the fix was done here. we will include this fix in the next release, thanks for the bug report.

  I solved the problem by optimizing the models, added css to the html and minified the code and in the end it worked very well.

  edited: I updated the playground. It took a lot of work to make this model. Anyone who wants to use it can take it as an example.

  For what it is worth, if anyone is looking to test from the CLI, after setting up the lambda and layer on serverless, create a properly formatted .json file with the following payload and then use the command below.

  aws lambda invoke --function-name foo-report --payload file://foopayload.json foo-out.txt

  Please note the function name, the payload (in json file format) and the text file are all required.

  hi!

  that error indicates that you have more than 5 templates in your local, and the one trial month that was enabled after you had 5 templates had expired

  here you can find some instructions to be able to start your app again, basically, you should delete templates until you have 5 again and the server will switch back to the free mode again. of course make sure to save the files somewhere else before deleting if you don't want to loose that work

  I have a JSReport code enable until December of this year.

  what do you mean by this? have you purchased a license and you are getting this error? the enterprise trial is one month after you have more than 5 templates.

  I have tried to use jsreport-proxy, but I got the same error as @赵大程
  For creating pdf I use node.js and jsreport-core with packages:
  jsreport-pdf-utils, jsreport-handlebars, jsreport-chrome-pdf, jsreport-scripts
  Do I need some additional packages for possibility to use module jsreport-proxy?

  Anyways I was being stupid and saving the report from the browser with the Right click > Save as and expecting that the assets URLs would remain the same. (Doh!)
  I realized I need to wget it or send a GET request to get the plain original HTML processed report without having to save the resources locally.
  Anyways, thank you so much for the quick replies!

  @jan_blaha Understood, that's disappointing. We're going to have to install our own jsreport instance then. I've avoided that option mainly because I'm concerned of the time it will take for my team to get it installed and setup correctly in our AWS EC2 environment. I see you offer support plans. As part of that, would your team be available to do the installation for us for a cost? Once it's up and running, we would take it from there. I'm just looking to fast track the installation and configuration process. Either that, or if you could provide the configuration settings / installation recipes / etc.. that mirror the online environment. In reality, it's not the creation of the server or installation of the software that concerns me... it's setting it up / configuring it so behaves like your SaaS version does. Please advise.
